Single Ply Roofing Information

Duro-Last X Membrane Overview

Manufactured with the same formulation as the industry-leading Duro-Last® membrane, Duro-Last X is an excellent choice for contractors seeking the convenience of roll goods coupled with the customization of custom-cut lengths. Designed to reduce scrap and improve installation efficiency over traditional roll goods, the Duro-Last X membrane is available in 10-foot wide rolls which can be custom-cut to any length up to 200 feet. While the formulation is the same, Duro-Last X is manufactured using a different process, resulting in a smooth matte finish. A complete line of custom-fabricated accessories and parapets are also available with Duro-Last X, which are made from the Duro-Last flagship membrane and have a glossier initial appearance.

Duro-Last X Membrane Information

  • Available in 50, 60 and 80 mil thicknesses.

  • First membrane in the marketplace to offer custom-cut lengths up to 200 feet for 50 and 60 mil, and up to 130 feet for 80 mil.

Duro-Shield Roof Coatings Overview

With constant exposure to heat, cold, UV radiation, rain, snow, hail and high winds, a roof can be the most vulnerable component of a building's exterior. Duro-Shield Coatings and Materials can be used on a variety of substrates and are manufactured to help revitalize the life cycle of this critical asset.

Duro-Shield Silicone Roof Coating

Duro-Shield Silicone is a silicone-based roof coating designed to resist natural weathering while providing long-lasting watertight protection. When properly prepared and applied, following Duro-Last specifications, Duro-Shield Silicone can be used on the following roof substrates:

  • Single-ply membranes:

    • Aged Duro-Last PVC (polyvinyl chloride)

    • Other aged PVCs

    • EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer)

    • TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin)

  • Spray-applied polyurethane foam

  • Mineral and granule-surface built up (BUR) and modified bitumen

  • Smooth-surfaced built up (BUR) and modified bitumen

  • Aged galvanized metal

  • Concrete

Duro-Shield 10 Acrylic Roof Coating

Duro-Shield 10 Acrylic Roof Coating is 100% elastomeric acrylic and is designed to seal and protect a variety of substrates. When properly prepared and applied in accordance with Duro-Last specifications, the Duro-Shield 10 can be used on the following roof substrates:

  • Single-ply membranes:

    • Duro-Last PVC

    • Other PVCs

    • EPDM

    • Hypalon® CSPE (chlorosulfonated polyethylene)

  • Mineral and granule-surface built up (BUR) and modified bitumen
